What is Stem Kits For Students?

The mission of STEM Kits for Students™️ is to excite students about STEM learning and to generate interest and enthusiasm that they can carry forward in school and beyond with particular focus on underserved communities. We seek to support the teachers and families of those students. We are a 501c3 non-profit registered in Illinois.

Who is eligible to receive a STEM Kit?

Our goal is to promote STEM, so any school, teacher, or student in the US is eligible to request a STEM Kit.



What is the cost of a STEM Kit?

STEM Kits for Students™️ is a non-profit charity and there is no cost for the kit or for shipping in the Chicago area. If you live outside the Chicago area, we will request that you pay for postage of the kit to be shipped to you.



How do I order a STEM Kit?

Please use the contact page and provide your name, contact email, your school/club/organization, your shipping address, the kits your are interest in, and reason for requesting a STEM Kit. Please note that STEM Kits for Students™️ reserves the right to accept or reject STEM Kit order requests.



How many can I order?

Each school/club/organization is limited to three kits. Each individual student is eligible for one kit. We would love to offer more, but we want to get these kits to as many schools as possible.

How can I donate to your Stem Kits For Students?

How are monetary donations to Stem Kits for Students utilized?

Stem Kits For Students™️ is an 501c3 non-profit registered in Illinois. Monetary donations are used to purchase the materials for the stem kits that we provide to students as well as for stem kit material shipping and/or transportation. A small percentage of donations (5%) are retained for 501c3 entity operational uses such as mandatory legal, accounting, and bookkeeping services. The officers of Stem Kits For Students™️ work on a strictly volunteer basis and receive no compensation or salary. Any remaining donations that are not utilized for stem kit materials, shipping or transportation of stem kit materials, or 501c3 entity operational purposes are used to provide school tuition assistance to needy students in the local community.
